143 Mr. Ring asked the Minister for Agriculture and Food the position in relation to farmers who have availed of the early retirement scheme and who have leased their land to other people where these people have claimed under the REP scheme on the leased land; and if these people leasing the land can still claim in respect of leased land. Intending REPS participants, who have leased land from participants in the early retirement scheme, can qualify for participation in the REP scheme provided they meet the eligibility criteria for participation in the scheme.
