89 Mr. Browne (Wexford) asked the Minister for the Environment and Local Government the plans, if any, he has to approve the application by Wexford County Council for a new library at Gorey, County Wexford; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [11373/98]
Sketch design and cost plan proposals for a new branch library at Gorey, County Wexford were received in my Department on 7 February 1997 and are being considered. However, having regard to the high level of demand for funding for library proposals generally, it is not possible to indicate when the proposals may be approved.
