Wildlife rangers engaged on standard wildlife ranger duties, are based in the following counties: Donegal; Monaghan; Sligo; Mayo; Roscommon; Galway; Clare; Limerick; Kerry; Cork; Tipperary; Westmeath; Dublin; Wicklow; Laois; Carlow; Wexford.
These rangers are assigned to individual areas which they cover as a matter of routine. These areas include the greater part or in some cases all the above listed counties, as well as small parts of other adjoining counties.
With regard to the counties not listed above, rangers from adjoining counties, or supervisory grades, visit those counties as necessary to deal with particular issues arising there. I hope to recruit additional wildlife rangers in the near future.
