80 Mr. Higgins (Mayo) asked the Minister for the Environment and Local Government if a grant of £220,000 has been made available by his Department for the upgrading of accommodation at Tooraree, Ballyhaunis, County Mayo; and, if so, when work will commence. [12421/98]
A sum of £250,000 has been allocated in 1998 to Mayo County Council under my Department's remedial works scheme. Arising from discussions held in March 1998 between officials from my Department and the council, it was agreed that the council would review their proposals for the re-development of this estate. Revised proposals are awaited.
