Question:151 Mr. U. Burke asked the Minister for Agriculture and Food when he will restore the installation aid grant scheme for young farmers; and the changes, if any, proposed from the original scheme. [13089/98]
Written Answers. - Installation Aid Scheme.
The terms of a revised scheme of installation aid currently being finalised within my Department will target the aid towards smaller farmers. The scheme will come into operation when it is approved by the Department of Finance and EU Commission. I will be endeavouring to secure the necessary approvals as early as possible.
