79 Miss Coughlan asked the Minister for the Marine and Natural Resources when the report, The Physical Interactions Between Grey Seals and Fishing Gear, will be published; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [12657/98]
The report to which the Deputy refers was undertaken by Bord Iascaigh Mhara with financial assistance from the European Commission. Bord Iascaigh Mhara forwarded the report to the Commission in April this year from which time it has been publicly available. I understand that the board has also forwarded copies of the report to the fisheries organisations and associations.
I have asked Board Iascaigh Mhara to forward a copy of the report to the Deputy.
