220 Mr. Durkan asked the Minister for Education and Science whether work will commence on the second level girls' school at Celbridge, County Kildare, within the next three months; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [13277/98]
It is anticipated that the project at Celbridge will proceed to tender shortly.
Construction will begin as soon as the tendering process has been completed and a contractor chosen to undertake the work.
221 Mr. Durkan asked the Minister for Education and Science when work will commence on the provision of extra facilities at Scoil Mhuire, Clane, County Kildare; whether all preliminary requirements have or will be completed in the near future; and if he will make a statement on the matter. Stage three or developed sketch scheme, for the project at Clane has been approved by the building unit of my Department and the design team architect has been instructed to proceed to combined stages four and five, detailed design and bill of quantities, of architectural planning.
It is not possible to say at this point when construction will commence.
