242 Mr. Gregory asked the Minister for Education and Science if, further to Parliamentary Question No. 110 of 18 May 1998, he will examine the serious discrepancies in his reply with the details contained in the report (details supplied) from the training workshop. [13439/98]

In the light of the information provided by the Deputy, I have requested an urgent and detailed report from the management of the detention centre on all the circumstances of this case. I will write to the Deputy directly when the report in question comes to hand.
