56 Mr. Gormley asked the Minister for Finance the plans, if any, his Department has to introduce taxation measures to address the litter problem, particularly in relation to special tax measures to discourage excessive packaging in the chain of distribution and at the point of sale; and if he will make a statement on the matter. There are no plans at present to introduce special tax measures to discourage excessive packaging in the chain of distribution.
