Details of proposals for legislation being prepared under the auspices of my Department that have not being published are as follows: greyhound industry Bill, western development commission Bill, land commission Bill, national beef assurance scheme Bill and State Property Act 1954 (Amendment) Bill.
Details of statutory instruments being prepared in my Department are as follows. Statutory instruments being prepared to give effect to EU Directives are not included. The information on these is given in reply to Question No. 140 of today.

143 Ms Fitzgerald asked the Minister for Agriculture and Food the Acts and provisions of Acts under the auspices of his Department which, as of 1 June 1998, are not in force because a commencement order has not been made; whether it is proposed to make an order in each case; and, if so, when this will be made. [13995/98]
In the case of national legislation for which I have responsibility the position is as follows: Diseases of Animals Act, 1966, section 18 has not yet been brought into force and there are no plans at present to make a commencement order to bring it into operation.
