190 Cecilia Keaveney asked the Minister for Health and Children if financial support will be made available to a person (details supplied) in County Donegal to have a motorised wheelchair supplied to him in view of the fact that his health has deteriorated to the extent where he can no longer push his own chair. The provision of aids and appliances in individual cases is a matter for the relevant health board. Accordingly, I have written to the chief executive officer of the North Western Health Board and asked him to have the matter examined and to reply directly to the Deputy.
