Vol. 492 No. 4

Written Answers. - Temporary Release of Prisoners.

Tony Gregory

Question:

289 Mr. Gregory asked the Minister for Justice, Equality and Law Reform if a person (details supplied) in Dublin 1 is on temporary release; if the attention of the gardaí has been drawn to the fact that he is selling drugs near a school (details supplied); and if his temporary release will be terminated. [14184/98]

There is no person with the name and address supplied by the Deputy on temporary release at the present time. I am advised by the Garda authorities that it has not come to their notice that a person of this name is selling drugs in the location referred to in the question. Any information relating to the alleged activities provided to the gardaí by the Deputy will be investigated thoroughly.
