Vol. 492 No. 7

Written Answers. - Conservation Projects.

Cecilia Keaveney

Question:

286 Cecilia Keaveney asked the Minister for Arts, Heritage, Gaeltacht and the Islands the assistance, if any, available from her Department for groups or individuals involved in conservation of wildlife and nature (details supplied). [15095/98]

My Department through Dúchas, The Heritage Service, does not normally provide financial assistance for the conservation of flora and fauna on private lands. However, local national parks and wildlife management staff, who can be contacted through the Superintendent, Glenveagh National Park, will be happy to furnish advice on any conservation matters of interest.
