259 Mr. Ring asked the Minister for Health and Children the position of the contribution made by a person (details supplied) in County Mayo to the Western Health Board in February 1997 for works approved under the special housing aid for the elderly scheme; and when the works will commence. [15645/98]
As the Deputy is aware, the housing aid scheme for the elderly in the Mayo area is administered by the Western Health Board on behalf of the Department of the Environment and Local Government. I have asked the chief executive officer of the Western Health Board to investigate this case as a matter of urgency and respond directly to the Deputy.
