77 Mr. Neville asked the Minister for Agriculture and Food when a dairy hygiene grant will be paid to a person (details supplied) in County Cork. [19005/98]
The grant in this case will be paid within the next four weeks.
78 Mr. Ellis asked the Minister for Agriculture and Food when a REP scheme payment will be made to person (details supplied) in County Leitrim. [19006/98]
My Department has not received a REPS application from the person in question.
79 Mr. McGinley asked the Minister for Agriculture and Food when a sheep headage payment will be made to a person (details supplied) in County Donegal. [19007/98]
The person named submitted a 1998 area aid application with a declared forage area of 1.83 hectares. EU regulations stipulate that to qualify for sheep headage, an applicant must declare a minimum of three hectares of disadvantaged land. Given that the person named did not declare the minimum required area, sheep headage is not payable in 1998.
