Vol. 495 No. 1

Written Answers. - Status of Commonage.

Michael Ring

Question:

212 Mr. Ring asked the Minister for Agriculture and Food if he will arrange for the Land Commission to expedite the completion of a vesting order for a person (details supplied) in County Mayo of a particular commonage for lodgement in the Land Registry; and when the vesting order will be completed in order that a dealing number can issue. [19556/98]

The case in question has already been examined with a view to vesting. Some documents, which will facilitate early vesting, have been prepared by the Land Commission for completion by the person concerned together with a receivable order for the purchase money which appears, as yet, to be unpaid. Once these documents are signed, and the purchase money paid, the Land Commission expects to be in a position to complete the vesting without further delay.
