Written Answers. - School Transport.

Andrew Boylan

Question:

385 Mr. Boylan asked the Minister for Education and Science the reason the children residing on the Crehard Road, Belturbet, County Cavan, are not facilitated with the school bus services in view of the fact that the service existed ten years ago; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [19100/98]

My Department has not received an application for a school bus service for the children in question.

Bus Éireann has been requested to supply details of the local situation. The Deputy will be advised of the position when this information comes to hand.
