129 Mr. Penrose asked the Minister for Health and Children the steps, if any, he will take to ensure that a person (details supplied) in County Meath is admitted to Beaumont Hospital, Dublin 9; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [20682/98]
The provision of medical treatment to eligible persons in County Meath is the statutory responsibility of the North Eastern Health Board in the first instance. I have asked the chief executive officer of the North Eastern Health Board to investigate this matter and to reply directly to the Deputy as a matter of urgency.
