562 Mr. Kenny asked the Minister for Arts, Heritage, Gaeltacht and the Islands the proposals, if any, she has to designate any further nature reserves under section 15 of the Wildlife Act, 1976; if nature reserve areas have been identified by her Department; and if she will make a statement on the matter. The identification and assessment of areas that would be suitable for designation as nature reserves is an ongoing process by Dúchas, the Heritage Service of my Department and in this context, a number of sites are under examination at present.
