Written Answers. - Housing Grants.
I have no proposals, at this stage, to reintroduce a general house improvement grants scheme. I am, however, in the context of An Action Programme for the Millennium, examining, on an ongoing basis, possible options to extend the range of measures available to assist individual low income households to carry out necessary improvement works to their housing.
