Vol. 496 No. 3

Written Answers. - Shared Ownership Scheme.

Caoimhghín Ó Caoláin

Question:

333 Caoimhghín Ó Caoláin asked the Minister for the Environment and Local Government the actions, if any, he will take to encourage shared ownership between Dublin Corporation and tenants, particularly regarding the tenants of Crampton Buildings, Temple Bar, Dublin 2. [22805/98]

The administration of the shared ownership scheme is a matter for the local authority and it is open to the corporation to utilise the scheme in the case of tenants of these dwellings. I understand that a bid made for the buildings by Dublin Corporation has been successful.
