316 Mr. McCormack asked the Minister for Education and Science the position in relation to the provision by his Department of a site for the Galway school project in Galway city; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [23245/98]
I have signalled my intention to change policy in regard to site purchase for schools and indicated that I would be finalising an initiative in regard to State ownership. This represents a very significant policy change and consequently requires detailed consultations and discussions prior to implementation. When the initiative is finalised, I will make the details available.
