Vol. 496 No. 5

Written Answers. - Cancer Treatment Services.

Paul McGrath

Question:

127 Mr. McGrath asked the Minister for Health and Children the reason a meeting has not taken place to date to discuss the proposals for cancer treatment in the midlands, following the deputation from the Midland Health Board to his Department and the commitment and agreement that a meeting would be arranged by his Department; if he will put arrangements in place for this meeting; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [23329/98]

The responsibility for arranging this meeting is a matter for consideration in the first instance between the Midland Health Board and Professor Fennelly and such a meeting, would best be arranged under the auspices of the board.
