Vol. 496 No. 6

Written Answers - Limerick Custom House.

Michael Noonan

Question:

271 Mr. Noonan asked the Minister for Finance if the Office of Public Works has retained responsibility for the maintenance of the customs house in Limerick which houses the Hunt collection; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [23745/98]

The custom house in Limerick is leased to Limerick Corporation which in turn leased it to the Hunt Museum. Among the terms of the lease to the corporation was that it would be responsible for keeping the premises "in good and tenantable" repair order and condition internally and externally.
