Vol. 496 No. 6

Written Answers - Immune Deficiency Disorders.

Liz McManus

Question:

321 Ms McManus asked the Minister for Health and Children if he will ensure the work done by the Primary Immunodeficiency Association of Ireland is supported by his Department in view of the need to raise awareness of immune deficiency disorders and for a consistent approach from all health boards on the availability of assistance to patients. [23871/98]

In view of the complex nature of the issues addressed by the organisation concerned I feel it would be best if it were, in the first instance, to meet with officers of my Department. I have asked that such a meeting be arranged as soon as possible.
