374 Mr. Kenny asked the Minister for Justice, Equality and Law Reform the number of cases dealt with at the Castlebar legal aid service office for each year since its inception; the nature and category of cases dealt with; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [23421/98]

Castlebar law centre opened at the end of 1991. The following is a breakdown of new clients who received legal services from the law centre since that date:

A further analysis of these figures to provide a breakdown as to the nature and category of cases for each year would require the allocation of a disproportionate amount of the board's administrative resources.
