Question:

89 Mr. Kenny asked the Taoiseach the value and tonnage of beef exports to date in 1998; the breakdown of countries to which this beef was exported; the overall figure for each of the years 1996 and 1997 in respect of total tonnage and total value; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [23540/98]

The latest month for which information is available is July 1998. The table shows the value and volume of exports of beef for the years 1996, 1997 and the period January-July 1998.
