92 Mr. Durkan asked the Taoiseach the non-EU countries to which Irish dairy and meat products are currently sold and have previously been sold; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [23356/98]

The latest month for which information is available is September 1998. The tables give the exports of dairy and meat products to non-EU countries for the years 1993-7 and the period January-September 1998.

The latest month for which information is available is July 1998. The following tables show the value and volume of Irish dairy exports to EU and non-EU countries for the year 1997 and the period January-July 1998.

The exact information requested by the Deputy is not available. The figures given in Table 1 are taken from the CSO annual milk and milk products supply balance release which is compiled for the principal dairy products. It contains volume figures only.

Table 2 has been compiled from the CSO PRODCOM publication. Results are available from 1994-6 and relate to products manufactured by industrial enterprises and sold during the reference year.
