101 Cecilia Keaveney asked the Minister for the Environment and Local Government the position in relation to an application for funding for cutting equipment (details supplied) in County Donegal; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [24307/98]
On 26 June 1998 approval in principle issued to Donegal County Council's proposal to purchase new road traffic equipment for seven fire stations. The council subsequently submitted a tender proposal for approval to purchase this equipment. Additional information in respect of the proposal was recently sought from the council and this is awaited in my Department.
