115 Mr. O'Shea asked the Minister for Education and Science if he has sanctioned the chairperson of the board of management of St. Mary's national school, Ballygunner, Waterford, to pre-qualify contractors for its building project; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [24257/98]

The Deputy will be pleased to learn that my Department has approved the pre-qualifying of contractors for the building project at St, Mary's national school, Ballygunner. The school manager has been advised accordingly.
