Written Answers - Inland Waterways.

Beverley Flynn

Question:

218 Ms Cooper-Flynn asked the Minister for Finance if the Office of Public Works will carry out work on the main channel of the river Robe from Clooncormack to Foxhill and Robeen Bridge, County Mayo. [24553/98]

The stretch of channel mentioned by the Deputy is included in the Office of Public Works' maintenance programme for the CorribMask-Robe catchment drainage scheme for 1999. Because of fishing interests the work will be confined to the summer months.
