Vol. 497 No. 2

Written Answers - School Staffing.

Breeda Moynihan-Cronin

Question:

408 Mrs. B. Moynihan-Cronin asked the Minister for Education and Science if his attention has been drawn to the fact that St. Eric's school, Moorestown, Ballydavid, Tralee, County Kerry, has recently lost a classroom assistant, leaving the school with five computers idle with no person to teach computer skills; the plans, if any, he has to provide a teacher; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [24759/98]

I am arranging for a member of my Department's inspectorate to inquire into the matter raised by the Deputy.
