I propose to take Questions Nos. 57 to 67, inclusive, together.

The information requested by the Deputy is being compiled at present and will be forwarded as soon as possible.

In the 1999 Book of Estimates the Government has provided for a significant increase, to £3.741 million, in funding for capital coast protection works. I am developing an overall national strategy which will facilitate systematic prioritisation of coast protection needs in consultation with local authorities.
