Bruton asked the Minister for Education and Science the private voluntary or representative organisations for which he is providing a contribution towards administrative costs, training, outreach or other activities in the 1999 Estimates and in the outturn of the 1998 Estimates. My Department provides contributions towards the administrative and other costs of many private voluntary or representative organisations in the course of each year. This funding is provided mainly in the annual Estimates for Votes 26 and 29 through grant-in-aid subheads. The details of the names and allocations in respect of 1998 for each organisation which received grant-in-aid will be published in the 1998 Appropriation Accounts. The position in respect of 1999 has not yet been finalised.
