Vol. 497 No. 5

Written Answers - Tax Refunds.

Michael Creed

Question:

197 Mr. Creed asked the Minister for Finance if a person (details supplied) is entitled to a refund of income tax. [25710/98]

I am informed by the Revenue Commissioners that it is not possible to establish whether or not the taxpayer is entitled to an income tax refund without prior submission of the relevant forms P45 and P50 to the inspector of taxes. If the taxpayer requires any assistance with regard to making a claim for a refund of income tax she should contact her inspector of taxes who will be happy to advise her.
