Paul Connaughton

Question:

121 Mr. Connaughton asked the Minister for Agriculture and Food the reason a REP scheme payment has not been made to a person (details supplied) in County Galway. [26157/98]

The original agri-environmental plan submitted in this case was found to be deficient. A revised plan has now been submitted and has been accepted. The payment is now being processed.

Question:

125 Mr. Deenihan asked the Minister for Agri culture and Food when headage grant payments will be made to a person (details supplied) in County Kerry; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [26161/98]

The person named will be paid his entitlement under the 1998 cattle headage scheme within the next two weeks.

126 Mr. Deenihan asked the Minister for Agri culture and Food if he will increase the level of headage payment for the brood mare scheme. [26162/98]

All funds provided for headage in the years 1994 to 1999 are fully committed. There are no plans to increase the level of headage pay ments for breeding mares.
