Vol. 498 No. 3

Written Answers - Tax Refunds.

Bernard J. Durkan

Question:

119 Mr. Durkan asked the Minister for Finance when a refund of income tax will be made to a person (detail supplied) in County Meath; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [27122/98].

I am informed by the Revenue Commissioners that the inspector of taxes has no record of having received an application for a tax refund from the taxpayer. The inspector has issued a form P50 to the taxpayer to enable her to claim a tax refund. When the inspector receives the completed application it will be dealt with as quickly as possible.
