Vol. 499 No. 1

Written Answers. - Visa Applications.

Question:

805 Dr. Upton asked the Minister for Justice, Equality and Law Reform if he will review an application for a three month study visa for a person (details supplied); if he will give details of the reasons for this refusal; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [1245/99]

Having reviewed the application in question, my Department is not in a position to issue a visa in this case. The application was refused because my Department was not satified, on the basis of the documents supplied, that the applicant would observe the conditions of the visa.
