Vol. 499 No. 2

Written Answers. - Hospital Admissions.

Question:

100 Dr. Upton asked the Minister for Health and Children the number of hospital admissions following stabbing incidents for the last year for which data is available; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [2385/99]

The information requested by the Deputy is not routinely collected by my Department. I have however, asked the chief executive officers/ secretary-managers of acute hospitals to investigate this matter and I will communicate with the Deputy when I receive this information.
