227 Mr. Aylward asked the Minister for Health and Children if his Department will accept an application from a person (details supplied) in County Kilkenny under the technical aids grant scheme with a view to having approval issued. [2750/99]
I presume that the Deputy's question refers to an application for an aid or applicance for a person with a disability. The provision of aids and appliances to persons with disabilities is a matter for the relevant health board. I have, therefore, forwarded the Deputy's request to the chief executive officer of the South-Eastern Health Board and asked him to examine it and to reply directly to the Deputy as a matter of urgency.
