Vol. 499 No. 3

Written Answers - Hospital Services.

Brian O'Shea

Question:

240 Mr. O'Shea asked the Minister for Health and Children the proposals, if any, he has to make proper provision for the overall needs of persons (details supplied) in County Waterford; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [2536/99]

The provision of hospital services to eligible persons in County Waterford in this instance is the statutory responsibility of the South-Eastern Health Board. I have asked the chief executive officer of the board to investigate the position in relation to this matter and to reply to the Deputy directly.
