244 Mr. Durkan asked the Minister for Health and Children the number and identity of persons appointed by him to various boards, agencies or executives since coming into office; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [2644/99]

Minister for Health and Children (Mr. Cowen):

The number of persons I have appointed to the boards under the aegis of my Department since coming into office on 26 June 1997 is 276. I am arranging to have a list of those appointed forwarded to the Deputy.
