265 Ms Clune asked the Minister for the Environment and Local Government when he will provide the necessary finance for the refurbishment of the NBA flats in Deanrock estate, Togher, County Cork; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [2672/99]

Minister of State at the Department of the Environment and Local Government (Mr. Molloy):

Funding of some £840,000 has been provided to Cork Corporation for the carrying out of fire safety measures to these flats under my Department's remedial works scheme. No further proposals have been received by my Department in respect of these flats.
