175 Mr. Higgins (Mayo) asked the Minister for Agriculture and Food when the balance of an area aid payment will be made to a person (details supplied) in County Mayo who has verified all details with the area aid unit. [3975/99]
The area aid application for the person named was submitted with a declared forage area of 49.87 hectares. The application has been fully digitised and penalties have been applied for an overclaim on the application. The adjusted area is 41.92 hectares and all 1998 area aid based payments will be calculated on this area.
176 Cecilia Keaveney asked the Minister for Agriculture and Food the position in relation to a headage grant payment for a person (details supplied) in County Donegal; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [3976/99]
There was a problem with a parcel of land on the area aid application of the person concerned. The person named was contacted and the problem has been resolved. Any outstanding payments due will issue as soon as possible.
