Vol. 500 No. 4

Written Answers. - Medical Treatment Provision.

Question:

267 Dr. Upton asked the Minister for Health and Children if he will review the medical treatment provided to a person (details supplied) in Dublin 12; if he will ensure that this person receives appropriate treatment; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [4317/99]

The provision of medical treatment in this case, is a matter, in the first instance, for St James's Hospital. I have therefore, asked the chief executive officer of the hospital to investigate this case and reply directly to the Deputy.
