386 Mr. R. Bruton asked the Minister for Education and Science, further to Parliamentary Question No. 424 of 9 February 1999, when co- ordinators will be appointed to assist in the implementation of the school development planning process; if a competition will be held; and the criteria being applied in the selection of appropriate candidates. The co-ordinators will be appointed as a result of open competition within the next few months. Candidates for the posts will be expected to be teachers of wide experience particularly in relation to school management and the school development planning process.
