334 Mr. McGuinness asked the Minister for the Environment and Local Government if he will confirm or reject the compulsory purchase order for the road works to be undertaken at Campions Bend, Threecastles, County Kilkenny; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [5246/99]
Kilkenny County Council has submitted the Kilkenny County Council Compulsory Purchase Order No. 1 of 1998 for my confirmation. As objections have been received against confirmation of the order, the holding of a public local inquiry will be necessary. There will be no avoidable delay in making arrangements for holding the inquiry and in the final determination of the order.
