Vol. 500 No. 7

Written Answers. - Departmental Properties.

Bernard Allen

Question:

263 Mr. Allen asked the Minister for Finance if any decision has been made on the sale of 6 Coastguard Station, Crosshaven, County Cork, particularly in view of an application made on 15 June 1996 by a person (details supplied) to purchase the property. [5200/99]

The Office of Public Works is at an advanced stage of negotiation with the landlord to buy out the fee simple interest in the whole coastguard station site, including cottage No. 6. It is hoped that the sale of No. 6 can preceed when this process is complete.
