311 Mr. McGuinness asked the Minister for Health and Children the reason for the delay in providing a medical report to a person (details supplied) in County Kilkenny who attended Ardkeen hospital, Waterford, for a hearing problem; and if the request to have the report provided will be expedited. The provision of hospital services to eligible persons in County Kilkenny in this instance is the statutory responsibility of the South-Eastern Health Board. I have asked the chief executive officer of the board to investigate the position in relation to this case and to reply to the Deputy directly.
