104 Mr. Browne (Wexford) asked the Minister for Agriculture and Food when a farm retirement pension will be approved for a person (details supplied) in County Wexford; the reason for the delay; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [5392/99]

Minister for Agriculture and Food (Mr. Walsh):

The applicant in this case transferred his land to two transferees. On examination of the application it was found that neither of the transferees were eligible transferees for the purpose of the scheme. The application, therefore, could not be accepted.
